Where to find your figures

Use the payment options from a single policy quote. Check whether quoted installment amounts already include fees. If remaining amounts vary, enter their combined total under other scheduled payments.

How the math works

Add the first payment, equal remaining payments, any other scheduled payments, and separate fees. Compare the result with the pay-in-full quote.

Worked example

A $180 first payment, 11 payments of $96, and $24 in separate fees total $1,260. Paying $1,200 in full saves $60.

What this estimate covers

Use the same policy term and coverage. This compares the quoted amounts without modeling interest earned on cash, a credit card balance, or missed payments.

Common questions

What if my installment amounts are different?

Enter the first payment separately and add any unequal remaining payments into the other scheduled payments field. If you total all remaining payments there, set the equal payment count and amount to zero.

How do I avoid counting fees twice?

Check the invoice for each installment. If the listed payment includes a service fee, use that amount and add only fees billed outside the payments you entered.
